Test-specific instructions take priority. Confirm any fasting, medicine or imaging preparation when you book or register.
Before Blood & Laboratory Tests
- Confirm whether fasting is required and for how long.
- Do not stop prescribed medicines unless your doctor tells you to.
- Bring the doctor’s prescription / test advice.
- Carry previous relevant reports for comparison.
- Inform staff about diabetes, anticoagulants or other important medicines.
- Ask how and when the report will be available.
Before Imaging / Ultrasound
- Confirm whether fasting or a full bladder is required.
